yeah, tell your friend ot get a NSR500. you can get one used for aboot 50,000 US. now thats a steal. Great learner bike IMO

 

um, the 500cc class is relatively old streetbikewise. A sucker could go get a ninja500/ex500. No 2 stroke racebikes please

 

Common, your showning your age... there was also a 500 honda interceptor from the mid eighties. There are 500cc super motard two strokes form that same period... but you would have to go to euro top get one

Schu</TD></TR></TABLE>Ok, the expression is "Come on". Yes there was an intercepter but those are quite old and hard to find. The post indicated BRAND NEW so I only mentioned the kawi as its the only one still in current production. I suppose he could consider a gs500 if he were going used

and the RZV500 from Yamaha

damn too bad the physical design of the overall look of the bike is so different from 600cc bikes....

 

Another thing..

500cc bikes' insurance seems A LOT cheaper then 600cc bikes.....
