Smaller front bar for CRX?
As part of the GRM testing at Robling Rd a couple months ago, Tom Fowler had me disconnect the front bar on the CRX. This seemed to work well there and at BeaveRun, but at Summit during the 06/21-22 HPDE things got a little too tailhappy for me. I hooked the bar back up, and stablized the car a bit, but I noticed at the Hyperfest races it had gone back to more push than I'd really like.
I'm not ready to pull the bar again until I get more comfortable with the car, a bigger set of after-market cojones, or both. I would like to soften up the front a bit, though. Does anyone make a smaller bar that would give me more than none but less than stock? I notice that the HF bar is 1mm smaller and wonder if that would make a difference, or if it would fit.
Also wondering if I could soften up the rear bar (ST, now set at the middle) and pull the front bar and get a good compromise. (edit) or maybe go stiffer on the rear bar and leave the front?
Any of you CRX racers out there who have experience please help me out.

Loosen the endlink, or take a couple of the bushings out to give yourself some slop on the endlink. It will make a quick-fix compromise between no bar and your current bar. Been running this on my civic, largely because the bushings have rotted and fallen out on one side. No ill effects, but the car still plows under power.
We have always had good luck removing the front bars but I had a CRX racer friend who used to work for Suspension Techniques say that through testing that they had found some instances (usally light, low speed corners) where having no bar at all was detrimental. The only corner that I can specifically feel like I could use some front bar is Mid-Ohio's T8 at the bottom of the Esses.
I have toyed with getting an OE CRX HF front bar and trying it for grins as it is smaller than Si/DX and bigger than nothing. At Summit this weekend, I worked with a racer by tuning shocks and disconnecting the front bar and, although it took a bit of getting used to, it was better and quicker for him.
Although I have heard it mentioned many times, I would not be interested in loosening the end links. Especially when you are allowed to try using the right parts to try to sort your suspension and not grab in desperation to make changes.
