...would anyone happen to know the paint code to convert C8's to mf8's? I have a friend who can powercoat me some rims that are unpolished ala ce28s and mf8s.

Why dont you take the real wheels up there and get different paint chips to match them.

 

You aren't going to be able to match the MF8s with only powdercoat.

The textures between the two wheels are totally different. MF8 is rough to the touch, while the C8 is smooth.

Good luck with your idea. I'm sure there are going to be people that call you a ricer or some ****, but I wouldn't worry about it.

Well its not only gonna be powercoating. A matte and dried finish should help it come as close as the real thing. Im just looking at my options. If its gonna cost me an arm and a leg then screw it. hehe!

 

I beleive the MF8 are anodized and the C8 are powdercoated. You can't replicate a anodized finish.

 

do the c8's come in 5 lug?

Isnt that due to the forging process? Some of the Rays/Volk wheels have that too.

 

just buy the C8's and use the money that you where going to have them painted with, and buy motor goodies.

exactly. those c8's look amazing. better than the MF8's imo.

i think u should just get ur whole car a mugen paint job
