My distributor's bearing is dying. There is some play in the rotor shaft as well as a high pitched screeching sound.

Do I need to buy a whole distributor or can I just buy the bearing?

Also, what does a "distributor" from Honda come with? (Distributor Cap? Rotor? Ignitor? etc.)

Also, how much does one cost?

ignitor needs to be rebuilt
distributor cap and rotor are sold seperately

 

Just buy the whole brand new distributor. check ebay.
or post a wtb on here.
GSR distributor will fit perfectly and work perfectly. Same distributor.
Not worth trying to rebuild.
Too much stupid stuff could go wrong.

 

i actually have a spare ignitor i am trying to get rid of. paid 200... ..ill sell it for 150shipped... brand new
