Anyone know how to fix a scratch on a CF hood?

Some stupid Seattle civic through something at my carbon fiber hood and left a 3-4 inch scratch, about 1/2 a centimeter deep. Does anyone know if it's still possible to repair it?

when I got my CF hood it had a small scratch on it and my body shop was able to cover it up. U should be able to-

It depends how deep it is...1/2cm is pretty deep.

If its a surface scratch, it can most likely be buffed out with the proper chemicals and tools.

My hood has a scratch all the way down to the fibers, how could i repair it? It's a fiber images hood.
