Alright, so im making a fiberglass speaker box in my CRX in the spare tire well, so i can mount a 12" sub upwards. So i made the fiberglass part, molded in the shape of the spare tire well. My problem is, today i was cutting out the speaker baffle ( the flat top part that the speaker mounts too) and i got all it all cut out in the shape of the back of my hatch, but i cant get it in my crx! Agg, i dont know what to do. Can someone please give me some suggestions? Anything would be great.. ive spent alot of time/money and i want this to work out!
What are you saying? It will get inside of the hatch area but not fit to the interior moldings? Or do you mean that it is so big that it wont even make it into the back of the car from the outside? If you cant fit it from the outside you could cut it in half and then when it is inside insert a piece of mdf under it and attach the 2 parts to the mdf piece and cover it all with carpet. That will work. That is what I did with my Camaro before I sold the box.

Its too big to fit in the back. But if i cut it in half, the speaker hole (12") is right in the middle, how would i go about not ruining that? Also, what do you mean by put a piece of mdf under it? Did you glue it or screw it in, or what?
