Default Can you short a starter?

I was replacing some heater core lines today after one cracked and leaked coolant all over the trannyside of the engine bay.. it did touch the distributor and the starter... I actually drove the car with the coolant leak into my garage...removed the hoses leading to the coolant, some coolant leaked onto the starter and tranny... now the car does not turn over or even crank.... what do I do? did I short the starter or ignition? I dont think I has anything to do with the distributor, cause I am not getting the car to crank...

If I do have to replace the starter, what engine do I buy it for? 90-91 teg ls?

b16a s1 tranny in Ed hatch...

Thanks
Andrew
