For a while now my car has been making some unusual noise. At the moment it kinda sounds like a bad bearing but i want to see if any of you can better diagnose my problem. Here's the details.

When the car is running and clutch is released in netural the noise is made.
When the car is running and the clutch is pressed in the noise is not made.
When the car is rolling and the clutch is pressed in the noise is made.
In first and second is where i can hear the noise the most.
Second gear when downshifting sounds alittle diffrent than the rest, kinda like alittle hum but that could just be me hearing the normal noise that i couldnt hear in the other gears.

Basically the noise is getting lounder over the last month, i plan on selling the car and i need to get this fixed first. Right now i have a ACT Street disc with the extreme pressure plate. I had the full kit installed (bearings and all) about 2 years ago.

Ideas about what it could be would be useful. Thanks.

 

perhaps adjusting your clutch pedal.

 

throwout bearing.. what bearing is it.. taiwan crap.. or oem?

if its the taiwan stuff.. that probably it.

 

does it make this noise at a certain RPM????

 

i'm sure it's making the noise all the time, i probably just cant hear it at higher rpm's.

All parts should be from ACT

if it was the thowout bearing woudnt it just make noise when the pedal is pressed down?
