rear wheel drive conversion?
i wish i had a type r but i don't so im asking this for a friend who does. i saw something a while ago about the conversion but now i can't find it, does anyone know of what the kit is or some informative site is on this subject? does anyone here have the conversion? is it still streetable? thanks
The only RWD converted hondas i've seen are SCCA GT class cars which are tube framed, fiberglass bodied race cars that share little except the appearance of the cars they used to be and the block.
hmm, tnx but anyone else know if theres anything along the lines of this for a street teg? i might have been mistaken but i was pretty sure that someone said there was a conversion. thanks for the info though!
....do you have any idea what would be required for such a conversion?
you'd literally have to cut the floor pan in half to accomodate some kind for the drive shaft... amongst other difficult and rather expensive things....like moving the fuel delivery/pump around.
uhm..yeah, what RJ said....
