Default Mugen Head gasket

Did anyone get any ponies out of a Mugen head gasket? If so, how many? Are there any better applications out there?

hahaha..with the us stock compression..you will see a slight increase in power..(approx .2 rise in compression) with the jdm spec 11.1:1 pistons..which the headgasket was designed for..you will see an even better increase.. (.4)

What kind of tuning would you need if you had the JDM ITR Pistons 11.1-1 and were going to put on the Mugen Head Gasket????

Just make sure you put in 92+ octane gas and have the ecu tune for it, so the engine won't blow up due to high CR

ive tuned with the mugen ecu and the stock ecu..prefer the mugen becuase you dont need the second o2 sensor..but power gains were minimal compared to stock ecu...the lowered vtec point on the mugen is about the only real strong point..the new raised compression loves some fuel..so get a vafc and a fuel pressure regulator and you should see some good numbers hope this helps
