Default Overheating Accord >>>>>>>>>>>>>

My '87 Accord keeps overheating. . It's not getting any coolant.. I just changed the T-Stat and it didn't help..

If it cracked the head or something what engines swap into a '87 4dr. body?

check to see if your fans turn on? If not check your relays and fuses, also check your fan sensor switch. My friends 96 accord had the same prob and we fixed it by changing the fan sensor switch. good luck man

I also new someone with the same problem..it was either a 4th or 5th gen accord. And for a quick fix till you get it checked out I believe your a/c or horn relay can be used to substitute your fan relay...if that is infact the problem. Good luck man.

did you bleed the air out of the engine ?? sounds like a dumb question but alot of people dont bleed it and you will just have air in your engine and no water

yeah thats why different radiator caps can change the coolant efficiency rate.

its not a thermostat but when it has too much pressure (varies between what cap/what the manufacter recomends) it wil release the pressure weither it be coolant or air into the overflow bottle then when it cools down it sucks the coolant from the over flow bottle back in the radiator

i guess you can kinda call it a thermostat but i dont think i would ever call it one
