I do this for a living, and I would recommend that you let a professional do it. But it you want to do it yourself you will need about 15 ft. off a 36" roll to do the job. Good Luck if you try it.
My car came with some bad kinda purple lookin tint....it was obviosly done by the owner...hopefully i get money to do new tint soon but for now my advice to you is to get it proffesionally done or it wont look right...im not sure im into mirror tint though IMO...
so you had to strip your old tint off and now you want to replace it with mirror tint??? umm newflash homie,..mirror tint is also illegal,...im guessing the same cop that pulled you over will pull you over again and tell you take the mirror tint off
same thing happend to me back in the day when i thought the blackest windows were cool, then i kept getting tickets. so now they are crystal clear..
but will tint work on lexan? good question

i know each state has their own tint laws, but I got less problems from cops after I got rid of the black tint and went to mirror, I think it's because so many cars come factory with mirror now.
If it is the same film that you posted about above then you will still be legal with the 35% visibility and the 20% reflectivity. What state are you in and I'll look up the law for you.
In your state you can only have a 35% light transmission film but there is nothing that states the reflectivity. Also those meters they use are + or - 3% , so you actually could have 32% and not get a ticket. Hope this helps.
