Have you guys seen this? It's for the new Toyota Celica with the action package. Kind of looks like the new Type-R. Anyways, the commercial is hilarious! The car is just sitting on the street with no one in it and some old guy walks buy and starts yelling "Slow down! This is a neighborhood!"

I was laughing my *** off, this old guy is yelling and the car is just sitting there. LOL. It was funny. Wish Acura had good commercials...

 

celicas are slow! that commericial is pretty funny though....but the whole TRD company is just ricing out the whole car with some stupid parts.....wait til chris rado brings his celica out....then i bet all the company's will start making more performance parts

 

i like the one with the cop on the bike... that one had me rolling all over the living room!!

 

The GTS is by no means a slow car at all. We all know that they are slightly slower than the R (especially with mods). You don't have to like the car, but at least repect it and give it props. -C

 

I agree.....the GT-S is no slow KAh!

They are lighter.....tight geared, and produce SLIGHTLY less HP at the wheels than the current ITR. Have you been to the Celica forum and looked at dyno results?

 

I think they are slow. I have raced against a good amount of them and never had a problem beating them.

I do think the action package one looks pretty smooth though.

 

lol their catch slogan is "LOOKS FAST."

 

Yeah, the Celica forum guys are hatin' that slogan, "Looks Fast". They're just expecting to catch flack from it. They want TRD to bring out the GO parts.

The dog one is a little old, but they are funny as crap. My brother saw the dog one for the first time this week and was laughing for about 10mins.

 

My gf just picked up hers 2 weekends ago and we have been driving it around on sat. on open highway upstates.
She had been not happy because she said she is have hard time keeping up with my ITR whenever i step on it!
She said she had to shut radio off so she can tell when i accelerate so she can get quicker reactions! I give her credit!
I know she is learning on a new car so when time passes broken in, she may pull stronger. Her car is really sharp from
stock ones but she now convienced the different between sport and pure sports!! Well, no matter what, she is still
Toyota Fan so she still loves her GTS w/AP more then me!

They are by no means slow cars.With comperable mods they are as fast most ITR's.Those who said I have raced a bunch of them and beaten them havn't raced the right ones.They are much harder to drive than the ITR.That shitty tranny makes it hard to shift well.I can consistantly run 14.1's and a friend with a gt-s can stay glued to my bumper until around 100mph.

 

They might not be slow, but they drive like crap!

 

Celicas are slow as ****... like a Type-R, but even slower. Sorry, just a reality check.

The new Celicas are slow cars...around corners. How many good GTS drivers do you see beating good R drivers at autox or a roadcourse?

 

The best one is where the car is parked and a dog comes running out of the house and slams into the rear bumper....
