Here's a daytime pic of my gen5 interior. I also just got my interior panels back; I had the speaker grilles and dash surround chrome plated. Apexi rev/speed, V-AFC, autometer air/fuel gauge, alpine/clarion stuff. Apart from that, all other AUSDM options like carbon fibre trim, climate control, 3 spoke steering wheel etc. Next month comes a full crazy custom interior retrim. This pic just taken a couple of days ago at Melbourne Auto Salon 2001, I won "Wildest Stick-on Graphics" for my vinyl work.

Just curious, what's the red trim around the floormats? Is that wiring or is that just trimming?

Auto... well I got the car dirt cheap at auction (had only done 1000km before repossesed) and didn't really have the option to choose (but yes, given the choice definitely would get manual trans)

Not my daily driver (got me an '88 civic [my first car!] which I'm trying to sell to buy an SiR EK hatch or a Silvia K's) but I do drive it a lot. Right now there's still a whole heap of vinyl graphics on it (which is pretty much unheard of here in Melbourne) so it's spending a bit more time in the garage with the SLK.

As for the red trim around the floormats... I had a red/black interior but it looked sucky with the green exterior so I got rid of it, but I still have the floormats just to keep the floors clean, even though now the red trim looks horrible.

 

post a pic of your graphics, i'd be interested to see the exterior of your ride. how do you like your apexi rpm/speed "thing"? what all is it used for?
