My cooling fan doesnt work when my car is running but turns on when I shut off my car. When my engine temp creeps past half way on the guage the cooling fan doesnt come on at all and my car starts to overheat. Could it be a bad thermo switch? Any suggestions on what I should check tomorow when I get time to work on my car? Thanks in advance.

 

does your a/c not work unless your car is turned off and the fan is on? that happened to me before and i never found out what it was exactly, but when i had a new head unit installed i told the guy to check it out and he fixed it. that also fixed the problem with the fan not working when the car was running. prolly just a simple electrical problem..just have someone take a look at it.

 

cool yeah.. i dont have any freon so my a/c doesnt work.. gonna check a few connections tomorow.
