Turbo Type R Dyno!! Video included
Sean (TurboR) just had his fully built up Type R dynoed. Here is the video. And I also posted a snapshop of the dyno sheet.

WOW!! that video is tiite.. what kind of set up is that? what turbo kit? what was done to the motor? etc.. etc.. i'd really like to get a rough figure of how much would something like this cost.. i'll be more then happy with 300 whp..

Just a few questions from a newbie;
On a dyno, do you just dyno one gear? Or do you have to start from first and work your way up? Also, how come the graph only really begins at around 3500 RPM? Is that when you drop the clutch? I've never been to or seen a full vid of a dyno run...
BTW, Have fun tearing everyone a new a$$hole with your TypeR.

This was done in 3rd gear. It is a custom turbo kit. I believe it is a T61 turbo. Also, he ran at different pounds of boost but for the 402whp, he was at 20pouds.
Also, John Brown is the one who was dynoing his car and the one who built it up. Sean is expecting at least 11s with this car and wouldnt be surprised if he ran in the 10s.

hey for this turbo.. what mod's did he have to do for the rod's and piston's.. wht mod's do u basically have to do to the R if u turbo it.. reply back thxx

So u folks like my setup?? cooo.. Basically it is a fully built type R with a custom kit that took 5months fo John Brown to develop.. I went to the street races last night what a great time I had.. Went and raced Rousch mustangs with spray and ohhhh lord destruction.. They didn't know what hit them , since my car looks bone stock from outside.. I am glad u guys like it... Thanks..
