Vinny Ten ran 7.8 in outlaw - his first 7 second pass ever, congrats
Venom civic ran 8.9
lugnuts ran 10.5
John Shepard ran 9.39 in his street tire talon
The crazy Evo II from the midwest ran 9.7 @ 144 on the brakes, this car is silly
Ara or George ran 6.7 @ 204
Track sucked first round of qualifying, improved greatly for 2nd round
Usual weak turnout for Pro-Am FWD at englishtown...
3 cars for qualifying, 1 more will be there tomorrow. What's up with this class at etown. In Maryland 2 weeks ago, there were 18 cars, here there are 4????
Number one is me for now 10.58 @ 138.9, number two is ron (60-1) 10.97 @ 130 and Jason Hunt has yet to run. Not sure where the inline pro cars are.

Damn, only 3 cars. Congrats on the #1 position and winning nopi at mir. It was good to see someone besides an inline car win. Goodluck.

Had to leave cause i was just too hot, before the pro finals but this how it looked.
Quick Class
Titan Supra vs Efantis Supra(MSP), Titan was supposed to race Sav, but something happened under the tower and was pushed to the side, MSP beat Gary on the tree and the big end 8.9 to Gary's 9.1
AllMotor - was an overal slow field - no 10second passes
Buddy Dunagan vs Chad Barber
Street Tire -
Shepard vs Ari, Shepard ran a 9.2 in the semi vs Jeff Hill, Ari had the bye
Outlaw
Vinny Ten vs Cesar Fubus, Ten ran another 7.8 today
Pro RWD
George Bullish vs El Duke ?, George had to race Ara in the Semi's , 6.8 to 6.9

Street Class
Pro-Am FWD,
Finals was Brian XXX vs Jason, race was messed up, Jason Double Bulbed, Then Brian, and just before the lights were supposed to come down Brian's second bulb some how went off, and Jason left way early and Brian never left, I know they tryed to get a re-run but i don't think anything got worked out.
There were a total of 6 cars in the class for those who always ask.
#1 Jason - 10.4 @ 140
#2 Brian - 10.5 @ 139
#3 Ron (60-1) - 10.9 @ 129
#4 Rob FWD DSM - Mid 11.XX@ 135mph
#5 NuImage Integra - 11.XX @ 135mph
#6 NYCE Bubble - 11's

ProAm RWD/AWD
There was 5 cars yesterday but, Matt Miller fried a clutch, and another supra never came back.
So 3 cars ran eliminations all dsm's
Finals were
Keith (Bean from BM Tranny) vs Gabe, Bean won with 11.24 vs 12.2
Other car was Sheldon he ran 11.7-11.9 all weekend.

I got tons of videos as always just depends on when i get them up

Tim

Doesn't sound like I missed much other then the fact that I may have qualified decent in the all motor class.

So who won between Jason and Brian, I am guessing Brian won from a red light?

Would Brian or Jason win? I know that Jason left early, but if Brian didn't break the lights would he still win by default I guess? Not too sure on the rules.

Yea, I heard the lights were funky on the Ballard/Hunt final. I , unfortunately, had problems all weekend, and finished it off with missing 3rd gear in the semi match with Brian. Overall, i had fun, which is all that counts. Good to see everyone out again.

Here's the update of what happened

Pro AM was pretty much summed up so i'll move on. I will give it up to Ron for his setup, nice and simple!! (keep your keys on you Ron, and keep that Bumber on!)

All motor was bad this weekend with it being so hot and humid. No real news as no one could make a good run with the heat.

Quick class is where the supra were gonna dominate without a problem. Titan ran pretty consistent. Angela destroyed her Rob Moore axle by tearing the splines on it and killing the ring and countershaft. Sav ran decent, qualified at 9.6 but something happened b4 he could run the supra and shut it off. Gardella went 8.8 against Jojo (jojo qulified with a 8.9) but lost to titan in the semi's. Howard (ARFab) was out there, i think their best pass was a 10.1. Bruce (venom) ran a 8.9 during qualifying but then blew a motor, got it fixed and got passed round 1 but in round 2 something happened and shut it down.

Ari Yallon came out on Sunday only to qualify and win in street class as he was matched up again John Shaperd, something happened in the finals and Shaperd let off.

In outlaw Vinny Ten went 7.8 making it his first 7-second pass but then in the finals ran pass the staging lights and lost to the Nissan. Steph was out there with his yellow civic coupe and ran an 8.5 at 173 (car hasn’t ran in 8 months) but lost to Carlos Montano later on.

In the RWD in the first round Ara and George ran against each other and Ara went 6.9 at 200 and George went 6.8 at 203, great race caught that one on film. George finally won in the finals against El Duke as he spun out after launching.

Hehe, thanks lenny, thanks for all your help also. If anyone was wondering what he was talking about, my bumper fell off as soon as i got on the brakes on my 10.9 qualifying run. It chewed the bumper up, spit the fenderall out, and the bumper went underneath the slick, causing the car to veer left hard after the run. It was still all fun tho.

It was hot, it was fun and there was some good looking women out. Brian, and I made it to the finals. Brian had some issues stagging so I waited, when I thought he was fully stage I fully staged and what seem like forever I saw a flicker of yellow, I left cut such a good light it could not be recorded . Evedently when I was staging Brians light flickered again and he restaged, if it happened again i do not know if we could repeat it. Congrat's to Brian could not be happier for you Ron congrats on hitting 10.9. We had a good time this weekend. Jason
