Problem with my right fan not turning off
I need a little help here. The fan on the right side does not turn off with the car. I know some times it stays on when it is hot, but it is staying on for up to 30 min before it is shutting off. Any body else have this problem?

ps, the fan only runs when the key is off. if I turn the key to acc, and the motor is not hot, the fan is off.

Sounds like you may have a cooling problem. Have you had to change the radiator or themostat yet or is it still the original one(s)?
Still original, but runs in the normal operating temp, the fan will keep running long after the radiator is cool. I am hoping someone else has had this problem and has the solution.

i had the same problem...my fan would keep running for about 15 minutes after i shut the car off...it was especially annoying for me cuz it would keep setting off my alarm. it stopped doing this after i change my radiator fluid....still does it every now and then but only for a couple minutes at the most.
dont assume you dont need to change the radiator fluid because of your car's running temperature...when your car is moving the airflow plays a major part in keeping the engine cool.

if changing the coolant does not work, it might be time for a new TEMP sending unit for your ECU. Most cars use two sepearte sending units, one for the guage, and one for the egnine management system.
