90 Accord door glass coming out of run channel
Hi all, I'm new on this board.
I've got a 90 Accord EX 4-dr and have been having problems with the drivers side door glass coming out of the vertical run channel when I raise the window. I've already replaced the regulator with a brand new one and still have the problem. Seems no amount of adjustment of the regulator helps.
Anyone run into this problem? What's the fix?
Many thanks,
Dan

I had the same problem happen to me on both my front windows on my 90 accord. The only way I could think to fix it was to order new rubber/weather stripping for the window but before i had a chance to try it, my car was hit and totaled in an accident. Maybe try that, but other than that, im not sure.
HERES HOW YOU FIX IT...
Go to the auto parts store & get ur self a can of silicon spray & coat the window tracks very well. this will allow you to operrate your windows with no problem. the track has a felt lining that tends to wear & the window catches on the bare parts & the motors dont stop & thats why your window comes out of the channel.

Thanks for the suggestions UPG & RUB. I considered the channel weather striping as a possible problem but wanted to get some opinions before I threw more money at it.
As usual, the dealer(s) isn't too interested in offering any help to someone who want's to fix it themself - BB's like this are a great source of information.
Thanks, Dan
