Default NHRA All Motor Rules Changes??? race is getting close...

Jim,

I was wondering if there has been anything done on this... as you know the race is coming soon and many of us would like to have time to make the needed changes and get in a test session as well...

i know there won't be a mid season Catagory split for sure... but i beleive there will be weight changes... hopefully a reduction for the FWD cars...

Because of travel schedules, etc. it's been impossible for everyone involved at NHRA to get together until this week. Everyone understands that the second half is approaching quickly, and are working as quickly as possible to release some decisions. Meetings are scheduled for this week, so hopefully we'll all know the answers before this coming weekend. Best I can give you right now! Thanks for your patience.

I sounds like they are just going to sit on this issue. Rules changes need to be made well before the 1 week mark for everyone to get the updates and make changes.

I hope that they will make it public on ANY decision that they make or have not made as of yet to avoid people waiting on this issue.

I would also like to see the weight issues be changed for all motor class.

I'm told changes will be announced by end of the week. However, since Vegas is a continuation of a race started in March, rule changes will NOT take effect until Dallas. Even if someone shows up with a different car, it must meet the rules that were in effect when the race began.

So at least with this info, you know what you need for Vegas.
