General Fuel Pressure question
Stupid question, but does running a higher fuel pressure actually use more gas or does it just atomize the gas better? Im running at 30spi on 370cc injectors, and someone suggested to me to raise it up around 45-50psi and it would help make more power. I am running the AEM EMS and I know my A/F is around 14:1 low rpm to 12:1 around redline, but Im guessing I would have to retune my whole rpm range if I change the fuel pressure. My fuel pressure gauge reads 30psi, but Im not sure if the EMS controls anything like fuel pressure or not. Any feedback is appreciated, just trying to get a better understanding of how fuel pressure and injectors work together.
stock fuel pressure (with vacuum hose removed) is 48-52 psi.
I was making 198 WHP/132TQ on stock injectors and stock pressure.
I doesnt use more gas, just forces it into the motor more. Really tough on the stock fuel pump.. as Honda runs high 90's Duty cycle percentage from the factory.

30 is low.
You might not get a good spray pattern with such low pressure. Injectors are
flow rated at 43psi. I like to run 50psi on the cars i tune.
And yes, you will probably have to recalibrate your fuel maps.
