ok i just got a 93 red civic ex it already had aem air intake, good exhaust. my friend got a nissan 240sx, his has 155 hp stock with no mods. he keeps talking crap about how he could beat me in any race any day any time, so i, with only a thousand dollars what can i do to make my civic faster or do u think if i raced him now i would have a chance. i want to able to beat him reaaaaally bad

 

with 1k, go with nitrous. otherwise, i dont see just having basic bolt ons will help. otherwise, if you could find a good hookup, just swap in a B16 or B18. but i dont see them coming cheap.
