Default 13X8 on 10.3" rotor

I want to lower my final-drive so i'm searching for a good set-up. Smaller tire or 4.7 final-drive? As i am in DSP, 215X50X13 seem to be a good choice for autocross days and still keeping a good-on-gaz car on 15" for street, but i'm asking if 13" wheels will fit on my stock Ex 2doors civic brake rotor? (10.3")

Thanx

Philippe

I'm using the Panasports 13x 8.5" on a 94 Integra. I believe they are the same brakes. SP rules do not allow non-factory final drives, was the 4.7 available on a Honda on the same line as yours?

This is why i want to run 13" wheels and no other honda have a 4.7 fd in Dsp. It may seem a stupide question but, did the larger wheel and wheel offset make it harder to rotate?

thanx for the info

if you're on a budget you can get the Axis 13x7.5. they are under $500 from exospeed i think. there are a few other 13" autox wheels that will clear the 10.3" (GSR brakes, and EX/Si w/ABS cars... etc.).

With power steering it's not much heavier than others I have run. The basic balance of the car stayed the same as it was before. Rotation or even spinning are still there. The front end will follow pavement imperfections more, and I've been hitting more cones this year too since the tires stick out further. The difference in acceleration it very noticable. If the Axis wheels will fit, that is less than half the cost of the Panasports. You may find more shifting between second and third, depending on the type courses you run. I think it was a very useful addition.

13" wheels will definately lower the "effective" final drive on the car. Most of the DSP Integra's (Mike, Mike and Matt) run 13's for the same reason.
You just have to make sure the width and offset requirements will clear the calipers(distance to wheel spoke measurement) and not rub too bad on the wheel well area on full lock. The real trick is to find a set that work and are light on the budget... Panasports can run upwards of $300 a piece, and someothers are cheap but heavy. I sent a PM with more info..
