DC JDM 4-1 Headers
Are there any dyno plots out for this headers yet?
On another note, one of my source told me that the JDM 4-1 headers produced better power than the DC JDM 4-1..

DC Sports headers are great for making power at high rpms. The JDM 4-1 was used on the JDM Type R's because they needed more power at lower rpms. Depends on where you need power.
Gotta compare apples to apples. JDM 4-1 (which is SS) and DC 4-1 SS. You can get the JDM for $400 from Options, while the DC "JDM" 4-1 SS is $364. So basically for $36 you can have a header that won't raise any eyebrows at the dealership's service department and you can slap on OEM heat shields onto it as well. Can't do that with the DC. It's because of those features that I'll take the OEM JDM 4-1 over the DC any day.
DC JDM is quite a bit lighter than the oem JDM header. And once you starting adding heatshiels....
The DC JDM looks better too IMO. It just depends upon what you want.

my JDM 4-1, ported, anti-reversion chamber removed, coated, with donut gasket weighed in at 18.8 lbs.
heat shield doesn't weigh much at all, maybe 2 lbs if you're very generous.
How much does DC weigh? and does that last lb really matter that much?

I just received my JDM ITR 4-1 header and took it over to a friend of mine that has been building Honda race engines for many years. I got him to port it out for me as the welds are kind of rough on the inside of the primaries. He took some dimensions of the header and said it was built perfectly to maximize the pulse tuning, the length of the piping was perfect, the exact same size as he has been using for his custom headers for many years. I was concerned that maybe the piping was small compared to something like the DC header, but he said it was more important to have a header that maximizes pulse tuning as opposed to being concerned with just piping diameters. So I was happy about that, despite the collector being rather small. As far as performance, this thing pulls up top extremely well, from 7000 rpms and up it pulls strong. The nice part is that it doesn't have any bottom end loss, and there seems to be a good mid-range gain as well. nice header for the money.
