Default to shave or not to shave?

does anyone know how to take off the side molding's of a 5th gen accord?
and should i use fiberglass or should i weld on sheet metal to shave the sides?

WELD it, if you can.
bondo works most of the time.

side molding are hold with neither clips or glue

they look much better shaved, especially on coupe

shaved looks really clean. for the side molding dont do what my friend did. use alot of bondo. now his car looks shitty

I personally like the look of the side molding, as long as it's the same color. Hell, I even like it left black on white cars with black wheels and cf hoods.
