HELP- sqeeuking steering wheel

yesterday, my car started squeeking in the steering wheel, well, it seems more like inside the car, the area where the steering wheel turns. i was wondering if there is like a bearing or something that has to be lubed up or replaced.

any help would be grat, thanks

you may need to add some grease to the steering column. pull it off and see!!!

how do i do that. is it simply by pulling off the plastic cover behind the steeering wheel and bam? or there is more to it?

doesnt seem like its gonna go away. so any one know how to add grease to the steering column?

check to see if the noise doesn't come from your ball joints

behind steering wheel. there are 2 plastic piece. left and right side to take airbag off. use a torx bit to take it off.. then the airbag comes off.. in the middle behind the airbag there is a hex nut.. take it off and lube all metal with grease...
