Yes, they are Bridgestone Potenza S02's (NOT Pole Positions).
Fronts are 205/55-16
Rears are 225/50-16
Be forewarned, however, that these tires are not your standard off-the-shef S02's but carry part numbers specific to the S2000 application. Both front and rear are slightly wider than what's marked--the fronts are closer to 225's and the rears are closer to 245's.
The S02's are VERY grippy when new but employ a very hard compound down further and can become quite "interesting" when worn down. They also don't do such a hot job in the wet. Additionally, their wear rating is abysmal (40 I believe).
A lot of us were very happy w/ the S03 Pole Position. Although they do not have the absolute dry grip of the S02's, their softer compound is more consistent as they wear and they are a FAR better wet tire.
For an occasional track tire they're fine but if your plan is to use them for the track only, I might suggest something along the lines of the Toyo RA-1. You'll get similar wear and a far grippier tire for the track (especially if shaved). A full-tread RA-1 will be superior in the wet as well.

Yeah, you can still find them around though supply in non-OEM sizes is limited. Bridgestone is still making the OEM'd SKU's for S2000's and Boxsters.
when i was looking at tires, i thought that those tires were SPECIFIC for the s2000. meaning not available in a variety of sizes. not 100% sure though.

At the time the S2000 came on the market in the early fall of 1999, the S02 was a current model and was available from Bridgestone in many sizes. Again, there are specific SKU's for the S2000 application. These tires were slightly more square than the standard S02's that were available at the time. The S02 (and S02 Pole Position) have been replaced by the S03 Pole Position for non-application specific sizes. Bridgestone still produces the Potenza S02 specifically for the Boxster, the S2000 and maybe a few others, but you'll be hard pressed to find them out there for other applications.
