squeaky clutch?
i just did a d16z6 swap and hooked everything up correctly. bled the clutch until i saw no bubbles in the line and tightened the bleeder back up. the clutch has a solid feel too it, but when step on the clutch pedal... you can hear it squeak! whats wrong? any suggestions? TIA
thank god you have that problem too! i was beginning to give up on the dseries.... made the switch from b - d! LOL... anyways, any other suggestions on what or how to fix the problem?
is the sound coming from the clutch pedal itself or up front in the engine bay? if it's coming from up front, have your buddy step on the clutch while you pop the hood. most likely, it'll be coming from the clutch actuator for the clutch bearing. take off the boot and get some telfon grease on that ball. if it's the pedal, try lube on the hinge?

hey mugen76, i got that prob, and the sound is ocming from the engine bay area. where is the cluctch actuator youre talking about. and what kind of grease do i use? just go to autzone and ask for teflon grease? much thanks
The squeek comes from your slave clutch cylinder. Try different fluid, or replace the salve cylinder, some of them just squeek, doesn't mean anything is wrong, also check the boot some times a leak will cause a squeek.
