Pullies don't do a whole lot... save your money and buy better stuff, like turbo or a head package.

I'm tired of people trying to get cheap or free HP.

Strip your car, get lighter wheels, learn to drive. All those will help, too.

a good first mod: b18c swap

no seriously, i wouldn't waste my money on bolt ons. in my experience, they do little to nothing for you, and you won't be satisfied. i say work on the suspension first, then save up money for a turbo kit, or a swap.

if i could do it again, i would've done swap FIRST, suspension second. but if you're set on modding the Y8 for more "oomph" around town, an intake (or K&N drop-in) will work as well as a cheap A'PEXi GT header (grabbed mine for $315 shipped). exhaust is all noise and maybe 2 hp at redline.

yes, weight makes a difference (hp/weight ratio). however, unless your car is really built up, gutting your car is worthless, IMO. plus, it looks really stupid when you pop the hood with a little SOHC powered by bolt-ons. but if you're really desperate, it won't hurt.
