a spring/combo superior to itr for under a grand? nope. not possible. i would put a larger rear bar on it for about $360. if all you want to do is slam it, get a pair of cheap coilovers. but, the stock itr suspension is absolutley excellent. i just spent over $2,500 to improve mine, so improving will not be cheap.
well, i dont exactly want the "slam look", just something that decreases the current gap by 1 1/2 inch. And to spend 2500$ on suspension mod is not justifiable imo, unless i track my car every weekend. i'm thinking of going w/ the koni yellow/eibach setup, any experience w/ this setup?
I have been talking to a guy at a local shop here and he recommends GAB. They have a set of coilovers that run about 850/set I think. Adj. shocks and threaded spring perch gives you some room to play around.

I have the koni yellows on mine, with skunk2 coilovers. Handles well. I would say go with the ground controls, I'll be switching to them soon myself. KONI SHOCKS: http://www.diabloautosports.com/prod...roducts_id=305 Ground controls: http://www.diabloautosports.com/prod...roducts_id=610
True, they aren't adjustable, but they are valved ultra-stiffy 'sport' rather than HD.
Which brings up the point... if someone just wants to reduce his wheel gap an inch... does one really need adjustable shocks + coilovers?
just slap some H&R springs on there and be done with it.

Yeah, if you making suspension mods based on looks. go with springs, and be done. If you are looking for looks and performance, go coilovers. If you are running GStock and want to close the gap.......go with Koni yellow.
well if i had read this earlier, then i'd probably would have sold u my Koni yellows and springs for $400 w/ shock cap, rubber mounting, front folks and everything..but i have a guy line up already..oh well..
