Default wheel spacers?

when should you consider using them. i have the speedmaster 15x6.5's (40mm offset) on my 96 hatch. when i turn the wheel almost to full lock, and put a lot of load on the suspension, i scrape the tire on the inside front of the frame......i never had this problem with a 38mm offset wheel.

can you run a 2mm wheel spacer without upgrading to longer wheel studs? what is the general rule on how much thread engagement is mandatory for safety?

BTW, i just put on some Azenis. i know they will be worse than my pirelli p700's have been. thanks.

Most guys say the safest is 7-8 FULL turns of your lugs. I have a 3mm spacer and I get 8 turns.

I have yet to see any 2mm spacers... about the smallest I have seen is 3mm.

If you are interested I have an extra set that I have no need for. Hit me up on email or PM if you are interested.
