Rear Disc Conversion parts?...Master Cylinder...
I am doing an Si rear dics conversion on my 99 DX Hatch and i was wondering if i really need the Si Master Cylinder? Or a proportioning valve or is that only for ABS cars? Thanks for the help.
yes you need the master cylinder but the prop valve is the same. I had my friend at the Honda dealer look up part #'s on them and they are the same.
If it has stock rear drums they are NOT the same...
drum has a 30/30 and disk has 40/40 or 41/41 something like that...
It will work with either but it will only work correctly with the disk proportioning valve...

You can do the swap without changing your booster and master cylinder. But you wont get the proper feel of the braking power.
