Hmm so what order should I do these in?
VAFC
Headers
Toda Spec A Camshafts
Toda Valve Springs
Ferrea Titanium Retainers
So which order? Expand exhaust system in prep for the larger amount of power then drop in the Todas?? Or drop in the cams, then fine tune by installing new headers, and/or hi-flow cat and cat back exhaust?
I don't really do track racing, all I'm trying to do is build a fast all motor street car to use as a daily as well...so its not like i'll feel the effects of a restrictive exhaust since i wont be running on the track or anything...
edit: oh yeah, i have an aem cai at the moment...question about the cat back tho, is it worth it for ME to replace w/ a hitech or mugen twin loop? I know i'll lose SOME power, but the stock exhaust is pretty good and I'm only going to be driving around on the street...what i'm saying is, if it does have to be replaced, i shouldn't consider it a priority, right?

Stock is descent but i would say upgrade it later on, its not as much of an issue with the A's as it is with the larger cams
Order from first to last
1.Header and cat
2.VAFC
3. Cams retainers camgears and springs
4. FPR
5. Dyno tuning time.
6. Exhaust ( I know of a new one coming out that will be very good and decent prices) IM me later

Quick question... if you are not gonna be tracking it, are the mods for the aesthetic reasons? I mean, surely you won't be doing much street racing, if at all, and the mods you have mentioned are quite expensive. IMHO, it might be better to spend that money on good seats first, then mods the car out. For me, that's gonna be my first "mod"... so that I can go autoX. (plus 5-pt harness and a helmet)
(Also, I think 195hp is more than adequate for pleasure driving.)

Well, i wont be doing much street racing, but i WILL, and who knows, as i grow older and i can afford a beater, i may begint to autox and track race ...i'm not saying that i wouldn't ever, just not yet or now...besides, when those rsx-s's come at me w/ their mods i can still lay the smack down...
j/k...
j/k...
What new one?
Can anyone get the 70mm Kakimoto?
Hm...I wonder if it's straight through...

Why are you doing springs and retainers if you are using Toda A's? Is there future plans for a 9200rpm redline? A's are plug and play in a ITR motor and work great with bolt-on components. A VAFC and FPR will allow you to get the most out of those cams and mods. If you are doing springs/retainers, get the B's and raise the redline.
