Right now i have Tokico blues with obx coilovers. I'm selling the coils to get some springs. I was thinking about getting H&R race springs but how do you guys feel about them. I want the biggest drop with the best ride quality. i dont want any bounce. What suggetions do you have with these tokicos? Its a 2000 accord coupe

all springs are bouncy man, you need good shocks to get rid of bounce

you also need to realize to get a low drop for looks you sacrifice ride quality and other luxuries

Im sorry but i disagree with the comment of all springs are bouncy. I have had other cars that i had springs in and they were stiff as hell. All my friends have tight *** rides with there springs. I know that shocks is what makes the biggest difference with ride quality and i do agree that some springs are bouncier than others. I have had good quality with eibachs with my other car but i once had h&r's and they sucked. But i have heard good things about there springs for the accord. my car is a big car so i wanted to know what springs people were using out there cause i dont want my coilovers anymore. Im not being disrespectfull to you but i have been in hundreds of cars that have had some of the stiffest rides and they didnt do any drastic suspension mod. just some decent shocks and a drop spring.

Well the stiffer the spring is, the crapper the ride. Meaning that it will tend to bounce ono every bump in the road. The softer the spring... like stocks... will absorb bumps. Just like having the adjustable shocks... stiiffer will give you more control, but crappier ride. Softer settings will give u a better ride but crappier handling. But anyways ive got H&R sports on my 4th gen and they ride great. A lot less bouncy than my progress ones. Oh yea... all lowering springs are bouncy

The Tokicos HPs are okay just make sure you dont blow them quickly. if you want really good shocks go for the koni yellows. well for the biggest drop i havent seen any springs that lower more than 2.2. i would stick with the coil overs. preferably i would get skunk2. but if you want to go the extra mile get tein Super Street Dampers (full coil over suspension). because the teins will give you a really good ride because its 16 way adjustable damping force and it will lower your car up to 3.5 in the front and 2.7 in the back.

it's mostly the shocks that give you the less bouncy ride.
not the spring itself

when you get coil overs its best to get the adjustable shocks with them so you can control the damping force of the shock so u can get a smoother ride
