What are a good choice for brake upgrades...going on 98 gsr with 16in wheels

Default What are a good choice for brake upgrades...going on 98 gsr with 16in wheels

what would be the most economical and best performance for upgrading the stock brakes...any help and web page references would be of great help...thanks in advance

I think "economical" and "best performance" are mutually exclusive... But if you want economical, then get new pads and stainless lines. I prefer Hawk HPS or HP+, but Porterfield and some others are just as good (almost)

If you really want better performance, I would go with a Fastbrakes Big Brakes solution http://www.fastbrakes.com . That will increase the rotor size and get more square area of pad onto the surface of the rotors. There are plenty of other options as well, but check out these to start.

For economy, I'd recommend stock rotors with Project Mu or Endless pads.
