Yes they do absorb leaking fluid or over spills BUT face it. They are for aesthetics as well
I like the BLUE Spoon Cover over the ORANGE Mugen Plus you need to buy 2 Covers individually.

 

And you can wear them as sweatbands too.

Like mine???? I get a lot of **** from friends about them but I like them. Adds a little more color to tht engine bay. And yes, I know, the red power wire is going in some loom as soon as I pick some up.
