threw a number 9 code...can u guys help me find this sensor?
Well i have a 98 b18c1 in my 92 cx. It threw the #9 code and idles like ***....but it also threw a 41 but that's the 02 sensor so i can fix that easy. Anyway where is the cylinder sensor located???? None of my friends nor I know where it is. Is it in the distributer? I've read posts saying that it was and that i would have to replace the distributer. Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys!

What a coincidence, I just had to deal with this a few hours ago.
Anyway, the sensor is the one that is visible right when you take off the rotor and cover from the distributer. Try probing it, it should probe to about ~400 ohms.

Ok i tried to fix the o2 sensor and well we've pretty much wired it everyway that you can and it still throws the 41 and a 9. It's a brand new o2 sensor. It's a bosch i believe. Do any of you know what the hell is goin on? Thanks

Open the distributor. Last time I threw a code 9 my rotor screw came loose and tore everything up. The CYP sensor was in bad shape. Had to replace the distributor housing.
