Weird noise coming from front wheel...help.
I had just filled my 2 front tires up with air because they were low. Well about an hour later i noticed that when my front right wheel s spinning, there is a swishing sound, alsmost like a sprinkler. The faster i go, the faster the noise goes. When i step on the brakes, the noise dies down alot, but u can still hear it. Does anyone know what this could be?
Take your wheel off and look at your front brakes, check the the pads make sure they are seated correctly. Then check your main bolt( in the middle of your lugs, it's big, you can't miss it), make sure the indentation is in the ggroove of your driveshaft...hope some of this helps...
Man, that problem your having is similar to mine only that it was an annoying screeching sound coming from my brakes. It was imbarrasing to drive around town with is sometimes cause it was so loud. Eventually I took my wheels off to inspect it and what I found left me in awe....................the whole brake pad was gone. I mean it look liked it vaporized and disapeared.
