exhaust manifold,valve cover leak
i'm going to fix my exhaust manifold and the valve cover this weekend they are leaking oil,the manifolds bolts were loose i had all kind oil coming from that area,so i'm going to get gaskets, any one ever done this project before, and can tell me what to expect, what are the procedure
There really isnt any real concerns they are both prety easy to replace.
I would just make sure that you get some Honda bond for the valve cover and put some on the edges and along the cam gear cause those are problem areas. Otherwise pretty easy unbolt reaplce and then bolt back on.
Any particular questions you have though?

those parts are gonna be expensive at the dealer. 5$ each grommet x 8 grommets. 4 x 5$ spark plue seals, and I think the outer seal is around 20$. Dang I like working at a shop. I buy it wholesale for about 18$ for the comp set.
its real easy to replace. Make sure you dont over torque it. those 10mm bolts snap easy!!!. Make sure the head surface is clean and dry. apply some honda bond or RTV sealent to the corners where the cam caps go. and slap on the new gaskets. And for the EX mani. Warm up the car and then take off the bolts. maybe use some oil to loosen them. They like to break.
