should i turbo my D15 or go D16? or run a all motor B16? i want hp figures in the 230-250 range and pass smog...any thoughts? let me know thanx...Santos Jr

Making that kind of Hp neither turbo or allmotor is going to pass smog....
If you want to make 230-250 allmotor is going to be hard to get there with a B16...

Do it turbo. you could get it with a turbo D15. you would just need a big one. or like like Mysideperformance said: B16a (VTEC) turbo.

I think a turbo would do it....but you would need to sleeve the block. If you add fuel with boost with extra injectors, you have a more likely chance at passing smog.

a b16 with turbo can pass smog tests, alot of turbo's are approved to pass...and i know a guy pushing 250 whp out of a b16 and still passes smog...not exactly sure on what hes running but he showed me some dyno charts and he passed his smog test

isnt it all that added fuel stuff that makes you not pass smog
