We're working on my friends GSR, like a lot of other distributors the set screw on the rotor backed out and made the rotor stop spinning. The rotor took out most of the contacts on the cap when it came loose so we have to replace both. We picked up the cap for around $20 which is reasonable. However, for the rotor we had two choices an Integra PFI? for $20 or an Integra VTEC for $54. How could a rotor cost $54? Is there any difference?


This makes we wonder about a similar problem I had. When I replaced my cap / rotor with one from a discount parts store I began to have interfereance on my radar detector at all times above 3500RPM.
