Default CRX shock 1.5 inchs shorter than Civic shock?

I was told by someone that a CRX SI shock is 1.5 inches shorter than a 92-95 Civic shock, and they bolt up to 92-95 Civics like factory. Does anyone run CRX shocks on there civic?

you can run 89-91 civic shocks in eg's you have to get ef front forks though. will mainly work good on coil overs. the car will be lower but ride a little better since the front shock is a shorter body. you won't be able to raise it much though.
