Smog shops in Cali that cam pass my h22a eg?
Do anyone know of a smog shop in California that can pass
my 92 eg h22a in SO. Cali?
I also have another question. When you get a change of ownership is a smog test needed? If so is it a regular test or the dreaded "TEST ONLY"?
The car has a ref bar for it's previous b18 setup.
Message it to me or email it to DELETED.
thanks

if its a legit swap and all #'s match to a clean motor you can try to just get any shop to smog it. the test only is actually better cuz from what i hear the results are not sent to dmv. also better get it done soon before the dyno smog program is in full swing. and yes it is technically a law that the seller of a car smogs it within 30 days of transfer of ownership.

That's misleading. The seller must technically smog it before the transfer occurs according to the law. That kind of smog check is good for 60 days exactly. No fudging.
The seller can also be held liable for repairs "technically" if smog-equipment has been tamped with. Though how many sellers actually smog a car before selling it?
Test only is electronically sent to DMV as well.
Dyno program is already in full swing in the most impacted areas of LA/OC/SB/SF and most parts of San Diego. Although the shop owners aren't too thrilled (those are $60k machines).
