Default 94 civic si question?

Okay my friend is in the process of buying a 94 civi si, for 5k.
car only has 58k miles. do you guys think is worht it?

it depends on what he wants to do, if he wants to stick to the stock motor and mod that then its one hell of a deal, if not he can get an older one with high mileage for alot cheaper and then put an engine in it for almost as much as he would have into that whole car

Wow that has really low miles.. But it depends on what your friend wants to do. If he wants to keep the stock engine then go for it but if hes just going to take it out and put in a swap find a cheaper hatch. I paid 5 for my 92 si with a lot more miles but it had a b18b in it already.

Woo i paid 4900 for my 92si
with 95k on stock engine, babied its whole life though. Good deal for Santa Cruz, CA the west coast gets jacekd...

Like they all said, depends on his plans.....if a swap is in the future go for a vx or cx because it will be a lot cheaper and lighter....

exactly what he said....thats a killer deal on a hard to find <FONT COLOR="red">Si</FONT> and plus it has low miles.

Sure is

I paid 4500 for my 92 Si which had 150K on the body and 50k on a newer Z6. (Original had crank problems or some ****)

Drove it for 20K more miles, added Springs, Struts , Tanabe RM and 95 GSR rims and sold it for 4500.

The Si is the only hatch that will actually maintain its value in the long run IMO

i bought my 94 si back then with only 32k from an older lady for $6500...i think this was 5 years ago. came with all the options...but damn those options are really getting in my way now!! freaken abs system, ac, power steering...hog up the engine bay!!

i bought my 93 si 4 years ago with 109k on it for 4000....it know has 180k and it is still runnin like a monster......i love my hatch
