I recently Blew my 96 GSR motor in my 96 DC2 and I am haveing a hard time finding a GSR longblock. I want to install a B16A 88-91 (SiR I) Long Block from Hmotorsonline http://www.hmotorsonline.com/s...30017 its 500$ I need to get my car running while I find and build a b18 motor. Is this possible? Will this b16 fit my Tranny and clutch? will the Exhaust fit? will the motor even go in to car? its a 96 integra. I know its illegal to install an older motor in my car but I just need it running for a month or two. just to get me around. My car is obd2 will that be a problem? Has anyone ever done this? here is pictures of my blown motor. everything should fit just fine. except for the intake manifold (single runners) .. dont forget to swap the oil pump so you can have the crank sensor on it.

 

What would happen if I didnt switch out the oil pump? and are the electrical connectors on the motor the same or am i gonna hve to hack them up?
