I've been using a pyle amp my cuzin gave me when i bought my front components and rear coaxials. my question is that, the other i found a good deal on the kicker 600.4 brand new for 200 out the door. the same guy has the JL 300/4 for 300-320 out the door. should i save my candy money for the JL or get the kicker. how much better should the SQ with JL amp be than the kicker? i also know that JL amp have a good resell value, i like the features it comes with too

 

I'd get the kicker. You're getting more power for less. I would think that the kicker would sound better due to the extra headroom.

 

I personally think that the JL would be better quality but definatly more pricey, i dont think the kicker puts out more power either, but depending on how big the difference in the prices was, if it were more than 100 bucks, i'd go with the kicker, but if not, i'd go with the 300/4

 

for the kicker is 200 flat out the door, and for the JL it was 300 or 320 i can't remember.
