Default Buying a '94 Accord - any problems???

Hey everyone - I'm new here!! I got a question?!?!?
My girl is about to buy an Accord ('94). We're just looking for something that's very cheap - no more than $3000. She drives a '95 Millenia right now - and that thing gives her more problems than anything out there.
Anyhow, I like the looks of the Accords in the generation of '94 to '97!!! Should we look for any major problems on a '94 Accord. Have you guys had any problems on your Accords??? I know that the milage is gonna be around 110k or more!!

So, have you had any problems and what should I check before buying it??

Thanks

By the way, I know that Hondas last forever - well built cars!!!!!

if you can, only buy a 'one-owner' car owned by middle-aged 40+ ppl. You'll be much happier in the long run.

I had a 94 accord ex, the only bad memories about that car was the a/c going out (easily fixed) the radiator cracked (easily fixed) and this *** with his head up his *** killing my car (totaled it), but state farm shot me a knot so I was straight...I kinda miss that car...drove all over Texas in it and it ran perfect

watch out for the power windows, they tend to slow up. treat em with silicone lube and you're good. also the starter might go around that mileage but that's no big deal. most importantly check with your dealer, there's a service bulletin out about the balance shaft seals on the 94. i have an ex vtec, so i don't know if it applies to what you'll end up with, but check it out. other than that, you're good. i paid $5900 just over a year ago for my 94 ex coupe 5spd, with 103k miles. original owner, little 50 year old lady who probably never even hit vtec in the damn car. it hadn't had the timing belt replaced yet so i had to do that, but other than that it was perfect. happy hunting! be patient!

if the timing belt has been changed wthin the last few years that seal retainer is part of the job....just run the vin through the honfa dealer and they will let you know what is up...also the new timing belts are good for 120K so once you change that you most likely will not have to do that again.........
