Hondata Intake Manifold Gasket
I have it on my EP and didn't feel a difference. I dynoed the car before and after the install..
My Dyno page
I also installed it on a friend's RSX-S; he didn't feel a difference either.

I installed one on my dc5. The install is easy once you know what to do, but the first time can be difficult. The directions that come w/ the gasket for the DC5 show a pic of a Civic, so that about explains how helpful they are. If you go by your Helm manual, you'll be taking off all sorts of extra crap you don't need to touch. The toughest part is getting to the two bolts underneath the IM that hold them to the brackets that mount on the front of the motor.
Before the install, I could barely touch the IM, but now I can leave my hand on it for hours w/ engine running. When I took it back to Doug for a reflash he measured it w/ a pyrometer and it dropped temp by 52deg. Do I feel it while driving? No. Does it work? Yes. You wont feel anymore power but you can bet you're better off without heating up any intake air more than neccessary while passing through the once stock hot box...AKA intake manifold.
For $50 you can't go wrong. Plus, it will give you something to do on a boring Saturday afternoon. Should take 2-3 hours for a first timer. Good luck.

I didn't feel a difference because 4hp isn't much. It does its job great; I also temped it before and after and found a 56 deg difference.
The RSX only dynoed after, its on the same page.

you dont have to take the intake all the way out...remove the t.b., intake braket(ratbastard!), and put one of the nuts on backwards and and one on straight and tighten the two together to remove the two studs from the head, and that will allow you enough room to wipe down the head & manifold, and install the gasket...
good luck.
also a quick tip...take the fuel fuse out of the fuses box(before you start) and then attempt to start the car, this will clear the fuel out of the rail and release the pressure from the line.

yea, don't forget to have some extra coolant (50/50) on hand and a LONG (9" or 6" + 3") socket extension. you'll need to back out the left upper IM stud...use the nut from the right side one to tighten against the left one and you can easily back it out. do not forget to ground the fuel rail if you install all of the gasket washers on your bolts/studs. i know a lot of people forget to do this and start all kinda new threads asking for help. i used all of the nylon washers and regrounded my rail to the center valve cover bolt. if you mount it there say bye bye to the IM cover, which is ugly IMO anyway. engine looks better w/out that thing.
