Default making the shift light work minus the tach

i got an autogauge tach w/ shift light and i dont want the tach, is there ne way to wire just shift light work without using the tach?

Bump cause I;d like to know as well, BTW, would it still be more accurate then the stock tach> the EDs tachs are off like 400-600 RPM depending on the car @ higher RPMS....

i had my shift light module + shift light wired to my ecu when i had my prelude.. prelude tachs are way off at redline so when it's wired to the ecu it was waaaay more accurate... about how to hook it up without the tach...dunno....

I have a MSD ignition and it has a port to plug up my autometer shift lite. if you don't have a ignition box then you can use a rpm activated switch like the ones people use to activate VTEC

i'ts not a tech it's module you wire to the ecu and you can set shift point.

i don't think msd ignition box has a plug for shift light, it might look like it but it;s not. i called msd that plug that looks like it will fit is a megnetic pickup line. i have a shift light also trying to use w/o tech.
