Default Honda Accessories Side Skirts: How are they different from OEM?

Here is a picture of a '98 Civic equiped with the Honda Accessories side skirt and rear lip. I cannot see how these side skirts are different from the original equipment ones other than the fact that it is painted. Am I missing something? How are they different because they cost $358.80. I'm thinking about getting a CTR front lip and Honda Accessories rear lip and I'm only interested in the side skirts if they are different.

that rear lip looks nice dont it? i have one sitting here that is taffeta white and its brand new. i never installed it and had ordered it before they became extinct. i decided i am just getting a regular 99-00 rear bumper, and will get rid of it.

if you can find a mint taffeta white 99-00 rear bumper i might trade you a taffeta white 96-98 rear bumper and lip you'd just have to throw in some cash also along with the bumper

Synthesis, you've got IM.

Anybody else have opinions of the side skirts or have compared them side by side with the stock ones?

they are the same except painted. You know something funny, the 99-00 painted side skirts cost less from Honda than the 96-98 painted side skirts.

If you don't see the difference, then why is there a problem? Just don't buy them.
